Moreton Hall
This Georgian style mansion is much more modern that it appears having been built for a wealthy American, Charles Tuller Garland in the early 1900s. Reputedly he was hunting in the area and fell in love with the view across the vale of the Avon towards Stratford and as a result had the mansion built. When this photograph was taken the Hall was part of the Warwickshire College. It was subsequently absorbed into a larger group of colleges.

Former gardens, Moreton Hall
View from the west front of Moreton Hall. In the foreground is a water feature in the former gardens of Moreton Hall. The view beyond is over the Avon valley towards Stratford-upon-Avon, presumably the view is somewhat restricted by the growth of trees. Not normally accessible this was taken whilst on a visit to the agricultural college which are on the grounds of this former country estate.

Moreton Hall
Moreton Hall is a surprisingly late country house built in 1906 for Charles Garland in a Neo-William and Mary style. The house was designed by WH Romaine-Walker. Unfortunately the house was the victim of a large fire in March 2008, the house awaits restoration though the roof has been restored. The house is Grade II listed, see: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1381949 There is no public access, this picture was taken on a visit to Moreton Morrell College agricultural college.
