Middle Tysoe: free to all comers
According to the words of the psalmist on the inscription, "All beasts of the field drink thereof", but this communal trough is now full of communal marigolds, which go rather well with the ironstone wall.

Middle Tysoe
This is the view up Main Street at the junction with Peacock lane. The drinking fountain on the left was erected in 1886.
The inscription round the arch says:-
"Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again. Whosoever drinketh of the water I give him will never thirst".
