Post box and commemorative plaque, Little Kineton
The post box on the village green is a victorian type. Below it set into the brick built housing is a plaque commemorating the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II 1952-1977.

Little Kineton post box
The photograph looks like a black and white one, but it was such a grey washed out day that the red of the post box is the only hint that that photograph was really taken in colour.

Village pond at Little Kineton
Recently dredged with a viewing platform installed. Alder, willow and rowan trees grow along the waterside. An albino moorhen nested here between 2003-05.

Little Kineton Pond
Looking SW from behind the viewing platform. The notice board explains that the pond is managed by Kineton Parish Council with the support of Warwickshire Environmental Trust and Middlemarch Environmental. The board lists wildlife that can be found above the water, below the water, and microscopic in the water, and provides line drawings of various examples.
