Wireless House, Warwick Technology Park
An early occupant of Wireless House was the BBC Transmission Department, see photo of 2009 http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1197189 when it was already home to Arqiva, which describes itself as "a communications infrastructure and media services company, operating at the heart of the broadcast, satellite and mobile communications markets". A small sign at the barrier bears the name Arqiva although the company's website does not list it as a regional office; the nearest is Daventry. The currency of information on websites and search engines has always to be called into question.

Part of a huge office complex, originally built as Conoco's UK HQ (they own the Jet petrol brand), but they have moved to 'smaller' premises elsewhere on the site.

Shared path by Gallows Hill near Warwick
The path is pleasantly separated from the road by the hedge, left. The planted bank on the right is part of the naturalistic landscaping to Warwick Technology Park. The path runs between the Park and Banbury Road; thence people on foot or two wheels can head north to the suburb of Myton or over the River Avon into the town.

Contractor?s offices and lorry delivering to car park site, Warwick Technology Park
A new vehicular entrance has been formed into the National Grid site, where a three-storey car park is under construction http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4440283
It was a little after midday: there was a steady stream of walkers and joggers leaving the site.

Four similar blocks surround a car park. Signs at the entrance announce these companies: IRESS, NavitusBay, Phillips 66, Smith & Nephew. An agent's sign advertises 15,300 square feet still to let.

Warwick Technology Park, west entrance
A characteristic clutter of signs and lighting at the turn in off Gallows Hill.
The site was laid out and landscaped by Warwickshire County Council.
It has taken many years to become fully occupied - at least with buildings.
Banks such as that on the left are a feature throughout and are almost all growing moss, not grass.

The shared path joins the estate road. The tall vertical left of centre is the jib of a hydraulic crane employed in the construction of the car park on the National Grid site.
