A substation in spring, Dodd Avenue, Myton, Warwick
The small white sign on the left-hand fence refers to Myton Grange. It was a big old house, long gone. The bright tree in the background looks like a popular variety of Norway Maple, Acer platanoides 'Drummondii'.

Myton Park, Myton Lane, Myton, Warwick
Warwickshire County Council still has quite a presence in Myton. This appears to be the children's services branch of Social Services (on a Sunday). The buildings themselves are in the gridsquare.

The end of Croft Close, Myton, Warwick
Access presumably for emergency services only. If not, a puzzle. In any case, odd.

Copper beech, Myton Road, Warwick
This fine copper beech (Fagus sylvatica f. purpurea) stands in a front garden on Myton Road and overhangs the street. It is seen here in April, just as it is coming into bloom and into leaf. Copper beech is an ornamental form of beech with reddish-purple leaves and is often planted as an ornamental tree; see the Woodland Trust site https://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/trees-woods-and-wildlife/british-trees/a-z-of-british-trees/copper-beech/ .
