The business advertised is called nexus. They offered solutions for domestic energy efficiency. There are no signs of life. Anybody seems to park outside. The entry on the right is to a residential development, Bartlett Close.

This bizarre display seems to express euphoria at the prospect of the 'end' of the pandemic: let's get consuming again! Shouting "Find us in the chilled aisle" leaves me cold. What a way to treat coffee.

Lively clouds in view across Coten End, Warwick
The band of cumulus nearest the camera conceals a cumulonimbus cloud whose top has turned to ice, the fluffy area above. Somewhere below it, south of the town, will be experiencing a heavy shower, possibly with hail.

Men's formal suit hire shop, Coten End, Warwick
Until recently this was a bathroom showroom and shop, one of three within a few steps of each other. Now it's 'Peter Posh', with no competition. The signs in the upstairs windows never change – Rossmore Financial Services.

The shop on the corner was a family greengrocer, affectionately known as Ken's Fruity. It closed recently partly due to the owner's ill-health, partly due to loss of trade since the opening of a Sainsbury's Local nearby Image Its succcessor, a shop selling soft water, is no compensation. On the right is Guy Street.
