A fairground ride swings gently into action on a bright Saturday lunchtime. Old Square was formed in the early 18th century to improve the setting of St Mary's Church. The photograph is taken from the west side of the tower roof.

No business seems to last long in the corner premises, centre. I think this was an estate agent but the site is not much in the public eye and some aspects of the trade have moved online.

Number 9 Old Square is the corner building with numbers 11 and 13 beyond. Number 9 has an early/mid 19th century front on an earlier building. The shopfront is 19th century. Warwick Racecourse is located just west of the town centre. The Grand Union Canal passes through the town and the restored Saltisford Canal Arm is close to the town centre.
