The Crest, Lillington
The high-rise blocks of the Corporation's Manor Farm estate are, left to right: Southorn Court, Eden Court and Ashton Court - all named after local notables. Southorn and Ashton were aldermen; Anthony Eden was MP for Warwick and Leamington, later becoming Prime Minister. The name The Crest is appropriate: the site is a ridge overlooking the Leam valley. Eden Court, 15 storeys, can be seen for miles in all directions.
