19 and 21 Beauchamp Hill
Built by William Buddle Snr and Jnr as their private residences. They also built the houses which now form Clarendon Crescent. It is said that the Buddles built these before creating Clarendon Crescent, but the chronology does not support this. This pair is dated to c.1840, whereas the others are 10 years earlier. Listed Grade II.

Looking at the neighbours
Clarendon Crescent in Leamington Spa contains some of the most desirable houses in the town, built round a private glade. The houses on the right of the pic used to be the stables/service blocks for these fine villas but have now all been either converted to homes or knocked down and new homes built. The change in house value simply by walking from one side of the Crescent to the other is huge.

1 and 2 Clarendon Crescent
The plots were originally laid out as a circus with the houses facing inwards, but this appears to have been abandoned quite early and the few houses built became Clarendon Crescent. Built c.1825, Listed Grade II.
