No 1 Beauchamp Hill and neighbours
This solid late-Victorian villa was built by the Leamington builder G.F. Smith for himself. His yard and office were next door, out of shot left, now Henry Tandy Court sheltered housing. The view is across Union Road from the corner of Heath Terrace.

Rear of Milverton Crescent, Milverton Crescent West
Milverton Crescent West, foreground, looks like a mews road that has become mainly residential (Image, from the other end). Milverton Crescent is now a footpath but may once have been a fashionable front drive Image The area illustrates the opportunistic, piecemeal development of New Milverton, in contrast to the opportunistic, planned development of Leamington's New Town.

Milverton Crescent
A rather down at heel path, largely occupied by bins at its northern end, which would have been the original gentrified access to the two sets of terraced villas at either end. (The southern of these is visible in the picture). These were built around 1837-8 with imitation ashlar stucco, Listed Grade II.

26-31 Milverton Crescent
Built 1837-8, these houses would have been owned by reasonably prosperous families, although now looking a bit shabby in places. Listed Grade II.

Workshop on Milverton Crescent West
The sidestreets of Leamington Spa used to contain many small workshops and businesses, often housed in adapted stables and coach houses. This example has just been vacated in will no doubt be redeveloped for residential uses.

Local Shops
The junction of Union Road and Rugby Road. These two buildings would have been the local pub (on the left) and corner shop (on the right). Whilst they continue as retail premises they are now a Fireplace shop and a Motorcyclist's Accessories shop respectively.
