Homewood
Homewood is a Methodist retirement home on Kenilworth Road. This view is looking NW near the traffic light junction with Lillington Avenue. This area of Leamington Spa used to be occupied by large numbers of "Old People's Homes" to use the term at the time. Modern regulations and rising costs have seen many close and undergo conversion to flats.

Binswood Hall retirement village
Part of the retirement village built in and around the listed parts of what was Leamington College for Boys. http://www.audleyretirement.co.uk/villages/binswood-hall-retirement-village In the foreground was the old school playground, a bare, tarmacked area. The block to the right was the classrooms for the boys in the first four years, year one at the top and year four at the bottom, with woodwork and metalwork in the basement. The large top window on the left was the Geography room, the one below it being part of the main corridor that ran the length of the building. I attended the college from 1967 to 1974.
