Leamington Spa: site of Blue Plaque - 26 Portland Place West
This house in a Regency terrace, typical of many in Leamington Sps became the home of Malcolm Sayer when he joined the design team at Jaguar Cars. Pawnbrokers
An unusual sight in this part of the world these days, this traditional pawnbrokers, complete with the three balls, is on the corner of Regent Street and Grove Street. Musical instruments seem to feature most prominently in the items in hock!

Dale Street methodist church rooms
Although the main Methodist Chapel next door on the left was demolished in 1971 as beyond economic repair, the church rooms survive complete with their ornate frontage on Dale Street.

Former church, Augusta Place
On the western side of Augusta Place. This was built in 1850 as St Luke's C of E church at the height of Leamington's period of growth as a fashionable spa town. These days it has been converted for office use.

Portland Row, rear of Portland Place West
Portland Row was an old name for this road; possibly it is now only known as the turning for the Adelaide Road car park. The 2008 street map calls it Riverside. In the 19th century there were cottages here, swept away by floods.
