The Clarendon (2) - sign, 44-46 Clarendon Avenue, Royal Leamington Spa
The sign, showing a beer handpump, includes the rather strange statement "Beer and Loathing in Leamington Spa". The last two words are difficult to read because they are in black on a very dark background.

A quirky but popular pub which offers food, drink and various events. It describes itself as "a cracking boozer". The pub extends a little way down Oxford Street as well as having a frontage to Clarendon Avenue.

Winter Snow 1990
