This street is tucked away from the more major thoroughfares in Leamington, however despite its proximity to the town centre it is well provided with local shops and serves the local, almost self contained, community in the adjoining streets.

Since 2016 Image a memorial has been painted on the Swan Street facade. Alongside the portrait it says "Rise up and be the best you can be because your world is waiting for you. R.I.P. Tyrone". See Image for a view in 2009.

The Builders (1), 38 Lansdowne Street, Royal Leamington Spa
Located on the corner of Swan Street and Lansdowne Street and recently painted grey, this public house has had several names in its fairly long history. These include the Lansdowne Tavern and until recently the Builders Arms. Now it seems to be known just as the Builders, although the sign does offer an alternative.
