Regent Street shops
The first floor wall of one of the shops in Regent Street displays a pair of old painted wall signs either side of the window. They are difficult to make out but the one on the left reads "Bradley Basket Manufacturer" and that on the right reads "Bradley Brush Warehouse".

Park Street
Looking north up Park Street from Regent Street. This one-time quiet side street has been developed considerably in recent years with a good range of good quality independently owned shops away from the cloned chain stores dominating so many town centres these days.

The Angel Hotel
This hotel has been much expanded in recent years and is one of the few left in the town centre. It sits astride the eastern edge of the square with this side at the junction of Kenilworth Street with Regent Street being in this square. The easting passes through the middle of the building somewhere around the gap between the "Angel" and "Hotel" signs!

Lantern Corner
An interesting little arrangement of shop fronts in the "V" between Regent Grove and Regent Street, looking west near the eastern edge of the square.

Warwick Arms
At the eastern end of Regent Street. Until 1997 this was a fairly large basic town centre pub. After closure it has had a number of re-incarnations involving "sausage" in the trading name.

Past uncovered
Renovation work on this shop in Leamington Spa has uncovered an original sign for the former confectioner and tobacconist which occupied the premises years ago. It goes nicely with the old advertising sign painted on the gable wall of the adjoining building.
