Old Weighbridge
The old weighbridge at what used to be the entrance to the LNWR coalyard at the NW end of Leamington Spa Avenue station. The coalyard continued in use for many years after the passenger station had closed and the line from Leamington Spa towards Rugby had been lifted. In recent year the land has been taken over by car hire companies.

Leamington Spa bus garage
This bus garage was built on the site of the LNWR line from Coventry to Leamington Spa and until the 1980s still served as a coalyard. The main roadway follows the alignment of the railway and Avenue Station was behind the photographer. The chimneys of Ford's Foundry to the SW can be seen in the distance.

Approach to Stagecoach Bus Depot, Leamington Spa
This photo shows the approach to the Stagecoach Midlands bus depot in Station Approach CV31 3SA. It opened in June 1990 replacing the former Midland Red South bus garage in Myton Road since demolished. This depot has approximately 70 buses which run services in Leamington Spa plus those to Coventry, Kenilworth, Stratford -upon-Avon. To the right of the photo can be seen one of fourteen Optare Solo buses in Stagecoach Gold livery for use on high frequency route G1 between Warwick and South Farm via Woodloes, Leamington Spa and Whitnash. The depot buildings can be seen in the distance.
Update: this bus depot was vacated in April 2017 with a new depot being opened at Poseidon Way, Trident Park, Warwick CV34 6BY (SP3163 refers). Currently, a total of 212 homes and a 100 space car park are being built on this old bus depot site.
