The former Stoneleigh Arms, Clemens Street, from the Co-operative car park
This closed pub is in a sorry state, but protected from wind and weather because it's in a Conservation Area. Clemens Street and its continuation, Brunswick Street, were among the earliest developments in the village that became a fashionable spa in the late 18th century. The view is partly obstructed by a bus shelter.

Vox pop pub
This bit of modern graffiti has been added to the frontage of an abandoned pub in Old Town, Leamington Spa. The original old signage was revealed after paint was scraped off the building, which is under threat of development.

Stoneleigh Arms rebuild, Leamington
After standing derelict for at least 15 years Image, the old pub is being rebuilt, apparently from the ground up, apparently as a pub – someone must believe there is a gap in the market for drinking dens in an area full of student accommodation. The building isn't listed but this is a conservation area: now known as Leamington's Old Town, that is the new streets laid out at the start of Leamington's development as a spa.

Under threat
