Both sides of the street here have been redeveloped into an icy pastiche of the varied early nineteenth century houses in the Old Town. Note the funeral director – there is a cluster of them in the area.

Classic Train & Motor Bus model shop in Royal Leamington Spa
In April 2015, there is a notice in the window of the shop at 21B George Street. It announces that a little piece of local history is now available: a model of a Borough of Royal Leamington Spa Fire Brigade Leyland Wheeled Escape Fire Engine, priced at £10.95.

Satchwell Place, Royal Leamington Spa
One of the early developments as Leamington grew into a spa town was this row of buildings constructed in 1810. It used to house Hopton's Boarding House and the name commemorates Benjamin Satchwell of Leamington Priors, a significant figure in the growth of Leamington into a Spa town. The building was restored between 1979 and 1981 and is in a secluded area behind the main streets.

The Leamington Spa Mission
This unique piece of local architecture in George Street was built in 1828 at a cost of £1,000 as St Peter's Catholic Church. It was here that the Eugenie, wife of Napoleon III of France worshipped while on a visit to see the house in Clarendon Square Image where he had lived during his 1st exile. When the new St Peter's was completed in Dormer Place Imagein 1864 the church became home to the Leamington Boys' Mission. Today it is again a place of worship.
