Remains of railway bridge
This abutment was once part of the railway from Leamington Spa to the West Coast main line which it joined at Weedon. The bridge was over the Grand Union canal.

Grand Union skirts disused railway embankment
Some say that the birth of the railways marked the start of senescence for the canals but here the opposite has happened. This stretch of the canal is alive and well used, whilst the Daventry to Leamington railway that crossed, using this now dismantled bridge, is dead.
