The Three Horseshoes, High Street, Stoke Golding
Just south of the church, and no distance at all from the 'George & Dragon' - this is very much the old centre of the village. Quite an old pub, I should think - the round-headed arch at first-floor level above the entrance would suggest Georgian origins, probably early 19th century.

Stoke Golding: The George and Dragon
Occupying a prominent position in the village at the junction of the High Street, Station Road and Main Street this public house has evidently had a change of ownership since Stefan photographed it in January 2011
Image Gone are the bright red Ansell's nameboards to be replaced by the more sober (if that is possible with a pub) colours of the Church End Brewery.

Tower and spire of St Margaret's Church, Stoke Golding
Pevsner dates certain details of the tower to the early 14th century, and describes the church as 'blissfully unrestored'. See Pevsner's 'The Buildings of England: Leicestershire and Rutland'.
