Nicholas Chamberlaine Almshouses, Bedworth
Reverend Nicholas Chamberlaine was rector of the parish for over 50 years in the 17th-18th century. The almshouses were built in 1840, replacing a set of almshouses founded in Chamberlaine's will. Bedworth's secondary school is also named in honour of Nicholas Chamberlaine.

Nicholas Chamberlaine Almshouses, Bedworth
These Elizabethan-styled almshouses were built in 1840 to a design by Thomas Larkin Walker to house the poor of Bedworth. They replaced an earlier building, on a different site, and are named after Nicholas Chamberlaine, Rector of Bedworth from 1664 until his death in 1715. Chamberlaine left money to establish the almshouses and today they provide sheltered accommodation for 28 residents.

Roanne Garden, corner of Chapel Street and Leicester Street, Bedworth
Garden in the town centre of Bedworth, next to the Nicholas Chamberlaine almshouses. A small sign in the garden describes it as the Roanne Garden and explains that it was opened in 2000 https://www.flickr.com/photos/ell-r-brown/38077602195. It neglects to mention that Roanne is the French twin town of Nuneaton & Bedworth borough https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuneaton. There is also no explanation of the jug sculpture, which an older photo on the Geograph site shows covered with a floral display. The building at the rear is the Nurse's House, part of the almshouse complex built in 1840 https://www.bedworth-society.co.uk/the-parsonage-project.
