Pre-emptive graffiti, former hotel, Margate
On the boards around the site, someone - presumably the owner of the site - asks people not to write there, and throws in some pre-emptive anatomical epithets in the hope of reducing the temptation. Google StreetView images stretching back to 2009 indicate that at the time of this photograph the building had already been derelict and boarded up for ten years. On earlier photographs before the scaffolding went up, the lettering above the upper windows - still just visible here - can be seen more clearly to read "Fort Road Hotel".
