Now Vera's Kitchen, this Broad Street building in Margate's old town was formerly the offices of the Thanet Times - 'Thanet's leading paper'. Sadly anyone wanting all the week-end news, classified adverts and Thanet sport will now have to look elsewhere - the paper folded in 2012, a victim of internet competition. Evidently the premises had an older use as Stuppell's hair cutter.
