Cecil Square Baptist Church, Margate
This end of the church, built 1889 about nineteen years after the rest, is undescribed in the grade II listed building citation that certainly applies to the older rear part reaching to New Street, so may not be included.

Cecil Square Baptist Church - rear
This is on New Street. The front naturally faces Cecil Square. This end is a grade II listed building from about 1870. The later front end dated 1889 is apparently unlisted.

The Baptist Church, Margate
The Ebenezer Chapel was the early name for the Baptist church in New Street,
Margate. In 1899 this building was extended through to Cecil Square.
It is still there, and this explains why the Cecil Square entrance is rather
nondescript, while the 'back door' in New Street is a grander affair.

Fad Urners, 6, New Street
Fortunately a circular sign on the door reveals that this hairdresser is actually called Head Turners Angels, even though the signage indicates otherwise.

Looking west-northwest along New Street
The house standing on the corner of New Cross Street is number 9 and, although inhabited, appears to be in a rather shabby condition.
