Numbers 149, 151 & 153, Sea Road, Westgate-on-Sea
Number 149 is the furthest house; it has been named Whitecaps. My previous view showed the Image, while the plot to its right, seen here surrounded by security fencing, can also be seen in Image, when it was just a plot of rough grass. Subsequently it had number 151 erected on it.

Very nautical looking streetlights on Sea Road
Sea Road is lit between Epple and Westgate Bays with these rather nautical and touristy-looking lamp posts. I presume they date from the late 1980s or early 1990s, as the Philips SGS203 lamps on them first started production in 1985 and look quite grubby for their age. View taken looking east, following the path of the Thanet Coastal Path.

Carlton Rise, off Sea Road, Birchington
This is Carlton Rise, one of a few cul-de-sacs off Sea Road in Birchington, near Westgate-on-Sea. I wouldn't class this as Westgate-on-Sea myself (the bay is called West Bay and is actually part of Birchington), as I thought Westgate-on-Sea was a little further around where the hotels on Sea Road are. No matter, though! View taken looking east-southeast towards the railway and the A28 Canterbury Road just beyond.
