Christmas Tree on Canterbury Road (A28), Garlinge
Well, on the evening of 7th December 2007, another wish of mine came true - to see Birchington and the rest of the Isle of Thanet with Christmas decorations! This fine Christmas tree was spotted in the front garden of a house near the church on the A28 in Garlinge, just where the road reverts back to single carriageway from dual carriageway. Just a shame about the whitish light from the lamp-posts on the main road - it does spoil the atmosphere a little!
