The end of the left-hand prong of the Woodford Court road fork
At the other end of the Woodford Court road fork is nothing more than a brick wall and another smaller garage block out of shot to the left. There is also a small path which leads to a gate, giving easy access to the shops on Station Road from Woodford Court. There is also a new house and the back of Alpha Carpets in view from that path. View looking towards Station Road - the backs of the houses on Crescent Road are over the wall and out of shot to the left.

Tree Illuminated by Christmas Lights, Birchington
I love this photo! It's a rather atmospheric and surreal picture of a tree on a piece of green land at the station end of Station Road called Dog's Acre which has been lit with blue Christmas lights. I don't know if it's me, but doesn't the formation of those lights look a bit like a reindeer's head from that angle? Whether it's a coincidence or intention, I don't know, but it is a rather apt shape for a set of Christmas lights! This was taken from Alpha Road, looking north-west, with Station Road running across the image in the background.

A Snowy Woodford Court, Birchington #2
This view shows the other arm of the fork in Woodford Court covered with a thin coating of snow, looking north-west. I literally only had to walk a few centimetres from my position in A Snowy Woodford Court, Birchington to take this view, emphasising the extent of the narrowness and small size of the road!

A Snowy Woodford Court, Birchington
On the afternoon of 23rd March 2008, light snow flurries fell in Birchington. It settled on grassy areas, but the roads and pavements were too wet beforehand, so it did not settle on them. I was extremely lucky to be in Birchington that day, because it is the first time I have ever seen it snow in the village! This view is looking north (seaward) down the right hand arm of the fork in Woodford Court, near the square's 30 line.
