Quex Park [4]
A model of the Waterloo Tower which stands in the grounds about a quarter of a mile southeast of the house. The tower is listed, grade II, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1094674 Quex Park is a 19th century manor house in an estate of some 250 acres. The park is home to the Powell-Cotton Museum which has collections of stuffed exotic animals from Africa and other African artefacts, European firearms, European and Asian cutting weapons, European and Chinese porcelain, and important archaeological finds from Thanet and East Kent.
