Crab and Winkle Way Cyclepath leading towards Whitstable
This path leads from South Street towards Whitstable centre. This path follows the route of a disused railway running from Canterbury towards Whitstable.

Swale Park, Whitstable
This new housing estate is on Millstrood Road, opposite Tesco's Extra superstore. It used to be a group of industrial warehouses (that stood empty for a long time). Some houses are still being built along the A2990 Thanet Way.

Footbridge over A2990
A compromise to accessibility - not steps as such but a stepped slope. Tedious to drag a pushchair up it (and rather bumpy for the occupant) but I should think it's really hard work in a wheel chair.

Penny Farthing beside the Crab and Winkle Way Cyclepath
