Bus Stop near Tesco's Extra
This bus links Whitstable, Chestfield and Canterbury with the store.
Shame that Stagecoach do not run any disabled friendly buses on this route.
Presumably Tesco don't care much as most go via the car!
Still very annoying!

Millstrode Road, South Street, Faversham
Just before the junction with South Street was where the Canterbury and Whitstable Railway crossed on the level, parallel with South Street. The large building is built on the track bed. The line closed in 1952.

South Street, Whitstable
This street is on the Crab and Winkle Way cyclepath leading from Whitstable to Canterbury. This street leads towards Brooklands Farm where the cyclepath has its own path.

Penny Farthing beside the Crab and Winkle Way Cyclepath
Sculpture beside the disused railway route from Canterbury to Whitstable. Made by Mark Fuller October 2000. Close to South Street. The cyclepath (on the right) leads towards central Whitstable.

Swale Park, Whitstable
This new housing estate is on Millstrood Road, opposite Tesco's Extra superstore.
It used to be a group of industrial warehouses (that stood empty for a long time).
Some houses are still being built along the A2990 Thanet Way.
