National Coastwatch, Tankerton

Saxon Shore Way leads to Tankerton Slope esplanade
The long distance footpath does not follow the coastline all the time. This section had climbed up to meet Marine Crescent road. Now it returns to the esplanade, to follow it into Whitstable. In background on right is the Isle of Sheppey.
