Planning permission has been granted by Canterbury City Council under application number CA//13/01729 for the “demolition of existing buildings and redevelopment of block of 22 flats with associated car parking and amenity space”. Whitstable mural
On the wall of a building in Stream Walk, so called because the Gorrell Stream once flowed beneath it. In the 1920s, a long stretch of it was culverted and a large harbour reservoir was constructed. This was concreted over in the 1960s and is now the Gorrell Tank car park, next to the harbour.
