Island Wall, Whitstable
Showing the former Fisherman's Arms, a pub closed in 1906 when the licensing authorities were under pressure from the temperance movement. The last innkeeper was Edward Carden, owner of the oyster yawl Favourite built in 1890 whose hull is preserved nearby.
