Howfield Manor Hotel, Chartham Hatch
Parts of this building dates back to the 12th century when it was known as Haghfeide and formed part of St Gregory’s Prior in Canterbury. The restaurant is in what was the 12th century chapel and there is a well inside that would have obviously originally been outside. A wonderful place to stay, very comfortable and friendly.

Howfield Manor
Howfield Manor dates from the 12th Century, it is set in 5 acres of grounds, listed as an hotel and restaurant, it didn't appear very open at the time the photo was taken, it was also unavailable via hotel links on the internet, so may well be closed.
