Planning permission has been granted by Canterbury City Council under application number CA/14/00173 for “details submitted pursuant to condition 03 (windows and doors (excluding bay), roof light, external vents and flues, eaves and ridge) of planning permission CA/13/2150/FUL for the change of use from mixed residential/retail to a single residential dwelling together with erection of a single storey rear extension and external alterations”.

Compared with Image, all building work appears to have been completed. A post office has been incorporated into Image; it remains to be seen whether or not the original building becomes known as The Old Post Office.

The Nail Bourne at Barham
The level of the stream has dropped considerably since last February Image but most of the time the course of this stream appears as a dry ditch at this location.
