Elham?s 2016 scarecrow competition
Here, standing on the grass verge beside the road, to the northeast of Elham, is a scarecrow with a board giving details about the competition. This is an image of Image that is also mentioned on the board. This event was also reported on the Elham Farmers’ Market in Kent website, that included a summer food and craft festival, to take place on Sunday 5 June from 12 - 3.30 pm in the village square and St Mary's Church. A new market committee member, Pam Ferris (who has starred in “The Darling Buds of May” and “Call the Midwife” on television), had kindly agreed to present a prize to the winning scarecrow designer http://www.elhamfarmersmarket.co.uk/
