Tyler Hill tunnel entrance
This is the southern entrance to the Tyler Hill Tunnel on the former Crab and Winkle railway line between Canterbury and Whitstable. It is not normally accessible to the public, but was part of the "Heritage Open Days" programme on 12/09/10. Despite the existence of falls of rock within the tunnel, the society devoted to the preservation of the Crab & Winkle line hope to be able to re-open the tunnel in due course - following reconstruction, of course.
