Memorial brass inside Belvedere Chapel
The so-called Belvedere Chapel at Hales Place was open on 12/09/10 as part of the "Heritage Open Days" programme. The chapel is the only remaining building of the large house and estate belonging to the Hales family and was converted from an 18th century garden building to a chapel c.1876. The brass is on the floor, just inside the door and is a memorial in gothic revival style of the 19th century to Sir Edward Hales.
