Mock Tudor building on High Street, dating from around 1907 replacing a building called the Smuggler's Retreat, the upper floor of which was reputedly used to signal to smugglers at sea.

The Town Hall, High Street, Hythe
Built in 1794 as a meeting house for the council. In the last century it was used as a magistrate's court. The clock was added in 1871 and was recently refurbished.
