Grounds of Folkestone Sports Centre
Seen from Cornwallis Avenue, I assume this is part of the 9 hole FootGolf course. FootGolf is an amazing sport that combines elements of both football and golf. Played on a traditional golf course, players kick off aiming to get onto the green and get the ball into the hole and the person to kick the ball into the 53cm hole in the fewest number of kicks around the course wins. The winner of the hole kicks off first on the next hole http://www.folkestonesportscentre.co.uk/more-sport/footgolf/

31, Julian Road
In January 2014, Image had its frontage covered with scaffolding. In the intervening period, I observed that its roof tiles were removed and replaced with brand-new tiles to leave the house looking pristine.

This large house, which also stands on the corner of Wilton Road, has been divided into flats and this view shows that scaffolding has been erected to roof level.

This is the house that has had scaffolding erected on its frontage to roof level. This is Image after the scaffolding had been removed, following the replacement of its roof tiles with new ones.

Grounds of Folkestone Sports Centre
Seen from Cornwallis Avenue, it is on this part of the grounds that planning permission has been approved, with conditions, by Folkestone and Hythe District Council under application number Y17/1595/SH for the “erection of 12, two storey dwellings off Cornwallis Avenue, together with formation of an aerial trek course and erection of a proposed snow sports and outdoor activities facility at Folkestone Sports Centre and associated parking and landscaping”.
These were the Image in January 2018; with the clearance of the ground, it appears that the development may start in the near future.
