Old Milestone by Old Dover Road, Capel-le-Ferne parish
Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of CAPEL LE FERNE (DOVER District), Old Dover Road, opposite No.47, on open grassed area overlooking cliff top, on South side of road. Folkestone stone, erected by the Dover & Sandgate turnpike trust in the 19th century.

Victoria Road, Capel-le-Ferne
Capel-le-Ferne is a cliff top rather than a seaside village but, like many south coast places, it has a significant number of bungalows. Many of them are no doubt occupied by retired people.
