Vacant premises, High Street, Dover
I was surprised to see that this premises was vacant as it was formerly Image operated by Mr Dean Saunders http://www.kentonline.co.uk/east_kent_mercury/news/2012/august/22/driver_goes_it_alone.aspx The three white rectangles in the left hand window all read "Cab For 1. Due to issues beyond our control we are relocating our office". It can be seen that all the woodwork has been painted now. 'The business can now be found at Image'.

A T Blackman & Son Ltd, 37/39, High Street
The firm, which was established in 1919, specialised in domestic heating and plumbing. I was sorry to see the closing down notice in the window, as the firm provided a first class service and carried out several jobs in my house.
Image were subsequently converted into flats.
