The road through Swingfield Street
The image was taken during another blast of icy Siberian wind, courtesy of “the mini beast from the east”, through fine grains of snow, which was falling at the time and slightly blurring the image, in one place, when one flake settled on the camera lens. However this storm produced very little depth of lying snow in the far southeast of Kent.

The crusading Order of St John provided priests for St Peter's for 400 years. Villagers have mounted a crusade of their own to try to prevent the church being sold to make a private house.
