Ringwould church
The church of St. Nicholas, is the oldest building in Ringwould, it date from the 12th century but the brick tower was built in 1628. Later an onion dome turret was added which served as an aid to navigation for ships in the Channel.

Showing the porch and the tower. There was a wooden spire originally but it was deemed to be dangerous and was replaced in 1627 by the brick and flint tower.
