Wildflowers on Walmer beach
The scrubby shingle strip at the back of Walmer Beach contains many varieties of wildflower and garden escapes. I can't identify all the varieties but the tall umbellifer is probably fennel.

Wellington Parade
Individual houses along the seafront in different styles. The road itself is unmade, but the cycle track alongside has a good tarmac surface. It is part of National Cycle Route 1.

Isolated Beach Hut, Kingsdown
Passed by on the Saxon Shore Way at Kingsdown, this beach hut stands in splendid isolation on the shingle beach - I wonder if it was actually washed in by the tide as foundations appear to be missing.

Standing Stone on the Beach
A large granite standing stone has been put here at the top of the beach. Nearby is a whole pile of similar rocks in a line which I am guessing are for some sort of shore defence, but this one seems to be just ornamental.
