Queen Anne House, number 13 Middle Street, was built in the early 18th century. Constructed of red brick under a hipped tile roof with a Dutch shaped gable. Listed, grade II*, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1069827 Deal is a coastal town in Kent, 14½ miles southeast of Canterbury and 8 miles northeast of Dover. A former fishing and garrison town overlooking the anchorage in the Downs, Deal was one of the Cinque Ports in 1278, and grew into the busiest port in England. Today Deal is a seaside resort, its quaint streets lined with ancient buildings. Deal Castle, an artillery fort, was built in the Tudor period and has a rose plan.

The Kings Head and Channel View Guest House
Lots of hanging baskets and tubs of flowers make this end of Beach Street very attractive. Dunkerleys restaurant is at the far end and Channel View Guest House is the cream building in the middle.
