A relic from WW2
This gun emplacement overlooks the flat beach of Pegwell Bay a possible landing area for the German invasion of Britain in the second world war.

Footpath near Little Cliffsend
This path (part of the Viking Coastal Trail and Thanet Coastal Path) leads from Ramsgate towards Cliffs End, around Pegwell Bay.
It passes by Little Cliffsend Farm (beyond the trees).
