Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Minster-in-Thanet
Showing the Norman tower. The church is known as the "Cathedral on the marshes" and was founded in 670AD. The oldest part of the present building was built just after the Norman conquest. Originally the sea would have come up to the churchyard wall.
