Close-up of Sandstone Wall in Ramsgate
I have pictured this sandstone wall in Ramsgate beforehand Image; however, I can now provide a close-up shot of it. As you can see, it is nicely decorated with flora, including geraniums and a purple flower which I am unsure about. However, the wall is not natural - if you look carefully, you may be able to see that the rocks are cemented together!

Fountain in Winterstoke Gardens
Winterstoke Gardens were presented to the Borough of Ramsgate in 1920 by Dame Janet Stancomb-Wills and opened in 1923. The gardens now have that Look Of Days Gone By which seaside towns do so well, but are still a pleasant place on a summer evening.

Winterstoke Gardens, Ramsgate
Created in 1923 as a make-work scheme. Built from Pulhamite, an artificial rock made from rubble covered with cement. The gardens are cared for by volunteers and Grade 2 listed.
