Fountain in Winterstoke Gardens
Winterstoke Gardens were presented to the Borough of Ramsgate in 1920 by Dame Janet Stancomb-Wills and opened in 1923. The gardens now have that Look Of Days Gone By which seaside towns do so well, but are still a pleasant place on a summer evening.

Sun shelter, Winterstoke Gardens, Ramsgate
Created in 1923 from Pulhamite, an artificial rock made from rubble covered with cement. The gardens are cared for by volunteers and Grade 2 listed.

Fountain within Winterstoke Gardens
This Victorian fountain (Grade II Listed) is within the gardens beside Victoria Parade. At one stage the fountain must have worked but it is now a dry pool.

Cliff-top shelter
Did someone at Thanet District Council see my photograph of this Image? The same shelter now appears in an almost pristine condition, although the roof is missing a couple of tiles (and two others are loose) on the right hand side.
